The Triton Project: Ch1Pg5

Don't let looks fool you, he's just impressed with her hair. (Pretty hair is a BIG deal in mer culture.) He's never seen any in that shade before. Most mers have brown, black, blue--colors that blend. He's also never seen a living human before, so it's very strange overall. (He's seen lots of skeletons. He's very surprised because he never expected their skin to be sand-colored. That's just weird.) He's already planning on telling Dawn and Melody later, though not his mom, because she'd KILL him for getting this close to shore. For now though, he has to get his head out of the clouds. He's got a job to do!

AND HOORAY I FINALLY GET TO DRAW MERMAIDS. Although Ash would probably kill me if he heard me calling him a mermaid, so I'll say mer, because he ain't old enough to be a merman....
