So You Want To Make a Sock Buddy by moonymonster So You Want To Make a Sock Buddy by moonymonster
I figured this might be useful to other dog owners. It takes about ten minutes tops to make, and yes, your dog will probably destroy it again, but at least you'll get two or three uses out of that toy that cost you the monies.

I fully intend on capitalizing on your idea. I appreciate it's freeness. ^-^ I keep all the stuffing and externals when they kill toys, so I have plenty of stuff to do it with... just need socks who don't have mates, now. *will raid the sock drawer when it won't wake up the husband*

Cool! The sock buddy will probably last about as long as the original toy, but it'll keep the dog distracted for a little while, especially if he/she is a puppy like mine XD Mine loves to chew on things so it helps recycle them XD

both are full-grown. German Shepherd mix and a Shar Pei mix. They get on well with soda bottles, too. ^-^

I'm not so fond of plastic with this one because she tends to eat it. XD

Not surprised. When jude gets a hold of one, he throws it around, then twists the lid off and gets bored. Adara likes to carry it around like a trophy and play with it, then twist the lid off and rip the nozzle apart. ^-^;; It's interesting getting the bottle away from her sometimes.

If you give mine a Frisbee, she'll chase it once, then grab it, hold it between her paws, and eat it. We use sticks or rubber bones now.

Might be good for my cat, she's always attacking my feet and probably could use a good toy like this. :D

I bet that would work great if you put some catnip on it too ^^
