AX 09-Ash Proposes to Garyby *moonymonster

I don't like this pairing. I really don't. I mean...it's like Paul and Ash. It just doesn't compute. But I did it anyway, because for some bizarre reason this is like the most popular yaoi shipping there is. Anyway, Gary got more warning than Brock because he got a bit of a preface. See, this group had a Misty in it, and I proposed to her earlier (though I don't think we got a picture as Anne didn't have her camera with her). So they knew I was Proposing Ash. However, they didn't know my evil, evil goal of doing one Palletshipping and one Bouldershipping picture during AX. They had the best Gary I've ever seen at any con (this picture doesn't begin to catch his awesomeness--guys, that's his REAL HAIR), so I knew he was my target. Fortunately, we ran into them again.

So for him it went like this:

Me: Hiii!
Gary: Hey!
Me: Look! We have a camera! Let's take pictures!
Gary: Okay!

We take pictures.

Me: Okay, look. I don't like this pairing, I think it's gross, but for some reason it's really popular, so I have to do it for the shippers.
Gary: Huh?
Me: *gets on one knee* Will you marry me?
Gary: (See above)

Clearly it would've been better to get their Ash to do it, as they matched, but whatever. Mission accomplished.

Also, I like how Surge is just so disgusted he can't look at us. Nice. Ash looks a little baffled too.

....I gotta admit, though, that would be pretty weird to see yourself propose to your rival. Especially if it's your TIME TRAVELLING self proposing to your rival.
